Time flew over the cuckoos nest

I stretched my legs till I could reach the sky
It still wasn’t enough
So I shrunk myself till I was invisible to the naked eye
I still wasn’t satisfied
So I stretched my arms till I could reach the clouds
But kept my legs short so I could still touch the ground
But my voice wasn’t loud
I sounded too much like a mouse
So I enlarged my head and my throat box
And I screamed and screamed
Till I smashed all the clocks
And time flew over the cuckoos nest
Now I forget the rest.

The Axolotl & The Anglerfish

“Go on!” The axolotl says “Pull my legs!”
“Why, oh why would I do a thing like that?”
What a cute little beast the axolotl is!
“Pull my legs! I grow back limbs!”
“Back limbs? Why do you want limbs on your back!”
The axolotl is always smiling.
“Do it for science,” Says a womanly voice, the sound of a goddess it must be!
“Holy Moses!” It’s the Anglerfish.
No goddess, just fucking terrifying!
“Can’t you see the beauty in my sharp, sharp teeth?” She grins
But what other expression could it have been?
“They serve a purpose I suppose, there is beauty in that.”
“But you said there is no purpose.” The axolotl said in its sweet little voice
“No grander purpose,” I reply
“Only the purpose of now.” The Anglerfish added.
I quite agreed, but it tormented me, “But that’s the problem.”
“What is?” Axolotl asks
“It leads to this thing we call hedonism, and that isn’t necessarily any good either.” I frowned in thought
“ If you’re looking for something, pull my limbs!”
“What would that achieve?”
“Nothing. I just really want to show you my party trick.”
The Anglerfish sighed, “I create my own light.”
“The human species creates light, but we sacrificed the stars. They’re seldom seen, even at night.”
“Damn!” The axolotl said
“That’s very sad.” The Anglerfish agreed.

Depression

“It’s cloudy out.”
She looks at me puzzled, “Blue skies.”
“They’re all lies.”
“There isn’t a cloud in sight.” She remarks with a frown.
“No. It’s the ones you can’t see that are sure to make us drown.”
“Are you trying to bring everyone down?”
“No.”
“But you’re so,” She swats a fly away, “Depressing.”
“Yes. I know. Everything reminds me that I’m depressed.”
“Well look the other way.”
“I do. I see through the illusion
I’m afraid I haven’t been blessed
With delusion.
At best I’ve been christened with holy water
But we all know that’s next to useless.”

she’s so gigantic she eats the world and all the lights

drawedGorillas abysmal creations.

I draw a happy face
In my breath
Pretend until it fades
It’s my friend
His face lights up
In flashes as we go by
It’s like he’s winking
And only we know why
And next to him I draw a dog
We call him Axel
Because that’s just our style
He wears a neckerchief
Cuz he’s a cowdog in cowboy boots
He’s mysterious and he has all the best moves
I draw a stick rendition of diplodocus
We call her Dippy
She is big and can reach up to the sky
She moves clouds so the rain don’t fall from my eyes
And she’s so gigantic she eats the world and all the lights
Till all is dark
But smiley, Axel, Dippy and I
Don’t really seem to mind
Because in the dark
We remake all the greatest cowboy films
Behind our eyes.

If anyone can draw feel free to draw a gigantic Diplodocus send it here
