A gorillas existential crisis

kiss

To be missed

Nov 23, 2016Nov 23, 2016MattLeave a comment

I won’t say a word
Of what passed
Our lips
A secret kiss
Between
The cracks
In the foundations
Of the walls we built
To go AWOL, to go amiss
Only to find we were not missed
Trying to be lonesome wholesome
Putting bitter in our twist
Trying to become misplaced
Only to find it was too late
We’d already been mislaid

Last Kiss

One last kiss
As the sun sets
Defining this, the end
Of this, of us
Lips lingering on promises
We swear to keep
