Sunflower night

Sunflowers push through whack-a-mole ‘oles
In’t night sky
Golden flowered stars blurred by eyes
An airscape t’ feast time
Puffs o’ cloud scryin’ t’morrows sunrise
Droopin’ petals.                                     rainin’ golden blossom.

Inspired by prompt

Also inspired by Van Gogh paintings, where I mixed up ideas from two of his paintings in my head to write this.

    Matt, I love your images. ‘An airscape t’ feast time’ – I would want to feast my eyes on that scene for a very long time indeed.

    Matt, your piece feels like a dream filtered through paint and starlight—something about it captures the motion and texture of a Van Gogh canvas. I love the way you bring sky and sunflowers into one swirling, golden scape…
