Woman in red

A shot of whisky and a cigarette
Dimly lit inside my den
Typewriter clicking
Swing music and all that jazz
Hook my thumbs under my braces
And snap them back
The sound of high heels
On the floor
Outside the door
Look out
The woman in red
Is back!

Haha. In bot questioning it, I was just curious as what the woman in red is like.

Yeah. Good poem. It got me curious. As I was reading I went into this “me time” mode, that nice sweet spot. Then the woman in red comes and poof it’s gone. I thought that was brilliant. 🙂
