NaPoWriMo poem 2: Greener man

Writhing & falling
Stretched-out & broken
Hanging on a fine thread
Swinging between madness
And sanity
All these thoughts littering my head

Digging & stamping
Upon contortions
broadcasting their faces
between my shoulders
Becoming mouthpieces
For words sharpened
by darkness

Coming undone
hitching myself
To the earth
In the hopes
I might emerge
A better, greener
Man.
